Megan got the Marilyn tattoo when she was 18, and has worn the tattoo as a tribute to the tragic Ms. Monroe. “It warns me not to let myself be treated so badly by the film industry so that it breaks me down.”
“I just feel like there are better things to have inked on your body than someone who suffered so much, so, in getting older, I just decided that is something I wanted to get rid of,” Ms. Fox told reporters.
Ms. Fox thinks the removing her Monroe tattoo, while painful, will be 100% successful. “I think it will come off completely because I have the right skin type to remove ink,” she described. “The more fair skinned you are the easier it is to remove dark ink, and I’m as fair as it gets.”
So, while Megan has not said that she plans to remove any other body art, it looks like we’ve seen the last of the Megan Fox Marilyn Monroe Tattoo.
